Yes, Printseekers complies with both French and German packaging regulations, and we provide the necessary Unique Identifier numbers for marketplace compliance.

French EPR Compliance (Extended Producer Responsibility Registration under the Anti-Wastage & Circular Economy Law): FR283084_01WXBS

As of January 1st, 2022, the French anti-wastage and circular economy law requires online marketplaces to verify their merchants' compliance with the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations. This includes obtaining a Unique Identifier Number (UIN) from the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME).

German Packaging Act Compliance (LUCID ID): DE4588959131421

As of July 1st, 2022, companies selling packaged goods in Germany must comply with the German Packaging Act, which requires businesses to register and provide a LUCID ID. This regulation ensures proper recycling and disposal of packaging materials.

  • How to Use: Enter our LUCID ID manually in your store's profile settings (e.g., on platforms like Amazon, Etsy, or eBay). Printseekers will handle all packaging recycling and disposal responsibilities on your behalf.
  • If You Have Other Partners: If you package and sell goods in Germany yourself or work with additional fulfillment partners, you cannot use Printseekers' LUCID ID. In this case, you must register and manage compliance independently through the Central Packaging Registry: https://www.verpackungsregister.org/
