We don't recommend applying our wallpaper in bathrooms or any spaces that are frequently exposed to water or high humidity. These conditions can cause the wallpaper to wear out over time, leading to issues such as peeling, bubbling, or mold growth, which affect both its appearance and durability.
Peel & Stick Vinyl wallpaper can be a better choice for kitchens and other areas with higher moisture levels than traditional paper-based wallpapers. It’s designed to handle humidity better, but it’s still important to avoid direct contact with water. Too much moisture can damage the adhesive and the wallpaper itself, shortening its lifespan and affecting its appearance.
Traditional wallpaper, whether unpasted or pre-pasted, works best in dry rooms where there’s little moisture. Pre-pasted wallpaper, in particular, needs careful handling since its adhesive is activated by water. Keeping it away from damp areas helps prevent the adhesive from activating too soon, which could cause the wallpaper to stick improperly or get damaged.
